New to the tutoring realm. I believe it's good practice for both the student and the tutor/teacher to discuss issues one-on-one. This practice becomes especially useful for the student when its comes to public speaking or having to display knowledge. Being able to teach or explain what you're learning helps to cement the knowledge in and give confidence to the student. Numerous hands-on work and field work in the science areas, especially earth science and elements of biology. Case Study analysis and reporting in both regular english and scientific writing schemes, lab reports, presentations, and science tool experience such as microscopes. Power-Point and Word usage on a regular basis.
